Looking to increase rigor for your independent workers? Use technology to help solve these problems! Come to our session to learn how to integrate technology whether you have a one iPad/chromebook classroom or a class set! We will also provide you with resources to help you spice up your math workshop and stay current on the latest ideas! Be excited to leave our session with ideas you can implement the NEXT DAY to boost engagement in your math class and help you stay on top of your student's progress!

Fostering A Mathematical Growth Mindset with CueThink

Educators will learn about CueThink’s consistent language and problem solving structure that can be use across grade levels to enable students to excel when solving word problems. During this interactive presentation teachers will explore the student and teacher mode to prepare them to be able to use CueThink with their students. Following the presentation, Teachers can apply for a 2 months PD supported pilot to try out CueThink with their students.

Merging Mathematics and Technology at the Elementary Level

Are you interested in learning new ways to merge more technology into your math instruction and strengthen students’ understanding of grade level math standards? This workshop will allow teachers time to explore and practice a variety of digital tools and resources that will help strengthen math lessons. We will delve into apps, media tools and online resources to make learning mathematics more meaningful, conceptual, and engaging. Digital tools will be used to enhance the work you do on a daily basis, including formative assessment and differentiation ideas to meet a range of learners. Teachers will compile a list of math-related resources that enrich the math curriculum.
