Limited Capacity full

We plan to introduce social stories as viable tools that anyone can use to help alleviate the anxiety students may experience around social situations.  We will also share a few apps which make social stories easy to create. We will introduce each app and then allow you time to play with each one to learn how to use them. This presentation will be geared toward an early elementary audience, particularly those who do individual and/or small group instruction. However, any teacher or specialist who works or lives with students who experience anxiety when they encounter unfamiliar social experiences will benefit from these tools. Please install the Going Places and Social Stories apps from the app store prior to this session.
**Allergy Alert:  Our classroom therapy dog, Franklin, will be attending this session with us.  He is a goldent retriever/yellow lab mix.  We would love for you to stop by to meet him. :)
