What can 3D printing do for your classroom. Soon Medfield will have a Makerspace where students can turn imagination into reality. Learn the basic tools (Thingiverse, TinkerCAD, and Makerbot Print) used in the process as you create your own 3D print.

The session will include: examples of 3D printing that can be used in the classroom, group discussion of how to make successful prints and the pit falls of 3d printers, examples about the exciting extensions of 3D printing in the non-school world.

Be sure to bring your device!

Medfield High School Senior Zach Girard will be co-presenting at this session.

I am a second year teacher at Medfield High teaching geometry and trigonometry. I love mathematics, science and teaching. I'd love to talk about physics, robotics, or the latest science. Looking forward to getting to know you all better.
