What can we do to encourage our adolescents to pleasure read? In my session, I will quickly review current best practices in adolescent literacy. The rest of the time, you will be listening to and contributing to a book talk which will include titles that would be "Good Reads" for students in grades five through eight. I will showcase some technology that can be used by teachers to help students with book choice. You may even leave with more than a handout!
